In June of 2018, we delivered events for New Balance in both Birmingham and Manchester.
New Balance, the official kit supplier to the ECB and England cricket teams, utilised City Brand, in order for the two days to run smoothly.
Cricket focused, the two events aligned in terms of strategy, as an international player was the draw for passers-by.
Our Digital Advertising truck accompanied the team to the respective locations, with it being re-branded with New Balance wrap, to ensure maximum exposure for the client.
Set in Rotunda Square, close to the City’s Bullring Shopping Centre, members of the public came for an afternoon of cricket, with England international, Chris Woakes.
There were over 150 participants in a three hour period which culminated with prizes such as T20 match tickets and signed mini-cricket bats being handed out by the 29-year-old.
Market Street was the location when City Brand headed to Manchester to join New Balance the following weekend.
England and Lancashire’s Keaton Jennings was in attendance, as he took part in an entertaining afternoon of cricket. Prizes were once again on offer, with tickets to see England take on India at Old Trafford up for grabs.
